These hiking boots have a Merrell Mountain Grade Quantum Grip outsole, which provides excellent grip on various surfaces. The construction of the Merrell Barefoot 2 is responsible for keeping the foot in its natural position without constricting.

The upper is made of pigskin, so it is very resistant to abrasion and has perforations in the finger area that promote breathability. In addition, these trekking shoes are equipped with a waterproof membrane that allows to keep the foot dry. They include traditional laces, a protective toe cap and a drag strip.
