Cushioning: Super strong The more cushioning you have underfoot, the softer and more comfortable the running experience. The cushioning provides impact protection when your feet hit the ground. Featuring our premium ZoomX and Cushlon foams, the Vomero 17 offers underfoot comfort for a balanced, soft ride. Based on runner feedback, we also removed the forefoot Zoom Air element in the previous version to simplify the midsole for a softer feel. Responsiveness: Super strong The more responsive the shoe, the more energy you get back with every step. Whether you want to run a little faster or a little looser, responsive shoes deliver a little more bounce with every stride, allowing you to get more out of your run. In the Vomero 17, our maximum cushioning shoe, your foot rests on top of a stack of ZoomX, Nike Running's lightest weight and highest energy return foam. This material is followed by soft foam underneath for an energised yet smooth ride. Support: Neutral The more supportive the shoe, the more stability it offers for a natural running feel. A combination of customised support and targeted cushioning ensures a secure feel with every step. The Vomero 17 impresses with its neutral support. It ensures a balanced feel, regardless of whether you touch down with the heel or the forefoot. It is suitable for long and short runs and allows you to roll smoothly from heel to toe. Pleasant fit and high level of comfort This shoe impresses with its first-class comfort. You can switch on cruise control for long runs. Specially developed mesh ensures a lighter, more breathable upper material compared to previous Vomeros. The soft insole stands for comfort and the soft shoe collar for a pleasant feel at the heel. The padded tongue and soft, elasticated laces ensure a particularly comfortable overall experience. What's new about the Vomero 17? We've simplified the construction of the 17 by removing the Zoom Air element in the forefoot and stacking premium ZoomX foam on the midsole to improve cushioned comfort. The result is a softer, more responsive ride. Extra abrasion-resistant rubber and lugs on the outsole provide durable traction. The flexible outsole improves the transition from heel to toe.
