The Speedgoat 5 is a shoe for both short and long distances. It makes a very good impression on almost any terrain and has definitely outperformed the ON Clodultra, which was previously my most comfortable trail shoe. It sits more comfortably and offers more security even on difficult terrain. It's simply fun to run with them as you hardly feel them. My longest run with the Speedgoat 5 so far was 33 kilometers. At no point was it uncomfortable or pinched in any way. They say that it makes a good impression even at 100 miles. I won't be running 100 miles in one go, but I'm already looking forward to wearing it for the 74-kilometer Rennsteig Supermarathon.
