The Speedgoat 5 is a shoe for both short and long distances. It makes a very good impression on almost any terrain and has definitely outperformed the ON Clodultra, which was previously my most comfortable trail shoe. It sits more comfortably and offers more security even on difficult terrain. It's simply fun to run with them as you hardly feel them. My longest run with the Speedgoat 5 so far was 33 kilometres. At no point was it uncomfortable or pinched in any way. They say that it makes a good impression even at 100 miles. I won't be running 100 miles in one go, but I'm already looking forward to wearing it for the 74 kilometre Rennsteig Supermarathon. The Speedgoat is made for demanding trails and has been completely redesigned this season, from the outsole to the laces. Thanks to Vibram® Megagrip with grippy studs, you can effortlessly conquer any trail and never lose your footing, even on loose ground.

The fifth version of the Speedgoat offers many improvements for your performance. For example, it is 15 grams lighter and much grippier. This weight reduction can be explained by fewer overlays - this innovation also helps us on our way to a more sustainable construction. A dynamic textile component wraps the toes and forefoot and ensures exceptional flexibility and comfort when rolling the toes and adapts to the potential curvature of the foot. The Mafate Speed 3, Evo Mafate 2 and Evo Speedgoat already boast this special feature. Thanks to the improved tongue, the top of the foot, right next to the ankle, where friction often occurs, is now also more comfortable.

Our midsole composite is lighter than ever and offers the signature smooth HOKA ride without sacrificing stack height. A two-layer jacquard mesh completes our latest trail superstar, ensuring you feel comfortable on any terrain.
