Trail running is not road running. Your feet have to constantly flex and adapt to the ever-changing terrain, and your footwear has to keep up with the pace. The 4th generation Pro Racing Socks Trail have been developed with the aim of absorbing and protecting shocks. Compressport technologies have been further developed to support all your off-road adventures. A robust yet breathable trail-specific fabric around the forefoot and lower leg quickly wicks away moisture to prevent irritation. The thicker instep fabric extends higher than our running models for added protection, and a special knit around the ankle provides reassuring stability in rocky terrain. A brand new, wider toe box offers a more ergonomic fit and improved proprioception, allowing toes to grip and balance intuitively on uneven ground. The robust terrycloth padding covers all toes and absorbs shocks during fast, jerky descents. An improved 360° drop-in insole promotes circulation and prevents the fabric from twisting and folding, preventing blisters and irritation over the course of the kilometres. Signature dot technologies provide strategic protection from the elements in areas considered problematic for trail runners. Both ankles are covered with large sun-shaped dots to prevent bruising from rapid foot movement.
