The Nike Pegasus 42 is a modern women's road running shoe that has been specially developed for daily training runs, combining comfort, responsiveness, and stability.
For decades, the Pegasus series has been among Nike's most popular running shoes and continues to impress in this generation with noticeably improved performance. In particular, the combination of innovative cushioning technology and an optimized fit ensures an extremely comfortable running experience – whether during an easy jog or longer training sessions.
At the heart is the full-length Air Zoom unit, which extends from the heel to the forefoot. It delivers particularly high energy return and a dynamic rolling motion. Every step feels springy and responsive as a result.
This system is complemented by the new ReactX midsole, which provides around 13% more energy return than the previous React technology. The result is cushioning that is softer and, at the same time, noticeably more lively.
The breathable mesh upper has been revised and now offers even better ventilation as well as a particularly soft feel. At the same time, the new fit provides more space in the forefoot and toe area, making the shoe comfortable even during longer runs.
An updated outsole with a durable waffle tread guarantees reliable traction on asphalt and paved paths.
