The NIKE InfinityRN 4 focusses on comfort. It is, through and through, a very comfortable shoe for relaxed, leisurely runs at the weekend. Beginners, occasional runners and returning runners who don't place great value on speed will also find a daily trainer in the InfinityRN 4. Heel runners in particular will get their money's worth here, as the strongly moulded rocker sole invites you to roll. Its high weight is not to be dismissed and therefore not exactly designed for faster runs. Up to a certain level, the shoe feels great, but beyond that it lacks the necessary support. It is not for nothing that shoes for faster use are laced tighter and have better guidance. It is therefore not the ideal everyday trainer for experienced runners. However, it is definitely a recommendable option for long, slow Sunday runs. The InfinityRN 4 does not stay true to its Infinity Run line. The features are too different from its predecessors. However, I think it's great that NIKE isn't launching yet another new model on the market, as it's difficult enough to keep track of the jungle of brands and models. With the React Infinity 4, you can hit the ground running and leave all your
worries behind. It's equipped with soft, responsive React foam and updated with
our most snug-fitting Flyknit. So you can take off anytime, anywhere without
worrying about wear and tear. It's the kind of shoe that gives you the
priceless feeling of being able to run longer, faster and further than ever
before thanks to high foam stacks and an intuitive design that supports every
step. Smooth and stable The rounded outsole provides a more natural feel and
more efficiency when running. This means you waste less energy when running. It
provides flexibility when the foot lifts off the ground, a smooth ride when the
foot moves forwards and cushioning on contact with the ground. Optimum
cushioning Nike React technology uses durable, lightweight foam for a soft,
responsive ride. The stacked cushioning is located directly underfoot so you're
closer to the foam for a truly responsive feel. Support and breathability
Flyknit in the upper provides breathability to keep your foot feeling secure
without suffocating. A water-repellent lining in the toe area provides
protection in bad weather. So you can keep going and won't be slowed down by
the elements. The Flyknit tongue is adjustable and soft to minimise ankle and
heel irritation on longer runs. An integrated Flyknit fit band ensures an
elasticated, secure fit. The foam collar provides a soft, supportive feel.
Reinforced rubber on the outsole provides traction and durability.
