Asics Gel-Sonoma 7 GTX

The GEL-SONOMA™ 7 G-TX running shoe was developed for outdoor use. For this shoe we have been inspired by the ASICS trail running family. It is particularly versatile and is suitable not only for trail running but also for light hiking and other outdoor adventures. We also used fewer resources in the dyeing of the insole to reflect a more sustainable design approach. This updated version of our trail shoe features a GORE-TEX™ upper to keep your feet dry in wet conditions. This season, we focused primarily on improving the fit of the upper. As a result, we used a new last design that provides a more secure fit in the midfoot and heel. At the same time, the wider toe box provides enough space for your toes. Synthetic stitching on the overlays improves durability, gives your feet a secure grip and reduces slippage. Extra comfort is provided by a full-length AMPLIFOAM™ midsole and a GEL™ cushioning technology unit placed where runners need the most shock absorption. To make every step even more comfortable, we've integrated an ORTHOLITE™ sockliner for superior comfort. In addition, the outsole with multidirectional grip improves traction on a wide variety of surfaces.All of these comfort elements are complemented by durable features like the rugged rubber outsole, making this shoe a versatile off-road companion.
