The EXPLORE NITRO MID is Puma's first hiking-specific mid-top and one of the few in the industry to use a super-critical foam like NITRO. Designed for flat or steep trails, the Explore Nitro is an excellent choice for your next outdoor adventure.

Full-length TPU-based NITRO foam maximizes comfort on the foot with minimal compression over time and is encapsulated in a durable PROFOAMLITE midsole. The great blend of cushioning and support works in conjunction with an outsole designed for hiking on trails, trees and rocks.

The upper is made of INVISIBLE FIT GORETEX - the latest in waterproofing technology. The collar is comfortable with a unique collar shape and an integrated lacing system for heel support. Proprietary PUMAGRIP ATR rubber provides enhanced traction in a variety of weather conditions.

The EXPLORE NITRO MID GTX offers the same durability, traction and support as the EXPLORE MID, but with the added benefit of waterproofing. Conquer any terrain with comfort and style in all four seasons.
