+ Description
The Achilles is a medical device and works similar to an Achilles tendon bandage, but can be worn comfortably in any flat sports shoe. The stocking with integrated silicone nubs, above the edge of the shoe, massages the tissue on the side of the Achilles tendon and promotes better blood circulation during sport. This helps with pain of the Achilles tendon such as Achillodynia, tendinopathy and paratendinopathy as well as in later phases of rehabilitation after Achilles tendon rupture or inflammation. Pain is relieved and the tendon gradually becomes healthier, more elastic and more efficient. The integrated sports bandage in the stocking garment stabilises the ankle with its built-in compression.
