ALTRA is setting an example with the VANISH CARBON. Visually pleasing, very well made, with a great fit and very good ventilation, it offers some innovations. With its FOOTSHAPE TOE box, it offers the toes maximum freedom and allows them to be spread and relaxed. The VANISH therefore ensures an extremely natural rolling process with increased support from the big toe. This comfort advantage can be felt and experienced straight away. This is flanked by the so-called Balanced Cushioning (Zero Drop), which positions the heel and forefoot at the same level as the ground and makes the running experience more natural. The EGO PRO foam generates pleasant cushioning with good energy return, which is effectively supported by the Carbitex half-plate and the Active Stance Rocker. The overall performance is at a very good level. The Altra Vanish Tempo is a training companion to the Vanish Carbon. Constructed on the same platform as the Vanish Carbon, the Tempo has the same energetic EgoPRO midsole without a carbon plate. Removing the plate allows the shoe to move freely throughout the gait cycle increasing comfort and versatility.

The Vanish Tempo is a lightweight performance training shoe. The upper and outsole of the Vanish Tempo have been restructured, adding to the Tempo's versatility and durability. Eliminating the plate has improved the flexibility in the shoe, giving the Tempo a more versatile ride. The Tempo is built around Altra’s Slim FootShape and provides ample forefoot room for toe-splay with a solid lockdown in the midfoot and heel collar. The outsole receives a higher durometer outsole rubber for excellent traction and durability. Altra's Vanish Tempo is a versatile shoe that will excel at up-tempo training over many paces and distances.
