The Altra Torin 9 GTX brings the legendary comfort of Altra's best-selling road
shoe to a weatherproof dimension. Equipped with GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit
technology, it offers first-class protection against moisture while remaining
fully breathable. The feel remains as supple as you would expect from the
classic Torin, as the membrane is barely noticeable in the upper material. The
new Altra EGO™ P35X dual-density foam provides luxurious cushioning that makes
you feel like you're walking on clouds. With a 28 mm stack height and 0 mm drop
(zero drop), the shoe promotes natural posture and relieves pressure on the
joints. The new Vibram® XS Run AW outsole guarantees excellent traction and
safety even on wet asphalt. The Standard FootShape™ fit design gives your toes
room to spread naturally, maximizing comfort over long distances. A softly
padded tongue and optimized heel collar ensure a secure and comfortable fit.
Weighing approximately 289 g (men's) and 248 g (women's), the shoe remains
pleasantly light despite its weatherproof membrane. It is the perfect choice
for daily training in fall and winter, as well as for long commutes on foot.
