The Altra Torin 9 completely redefines comfort for daily road training. As one
of Altra's most popular neutral running shoes, version 9 offers groundbreaking
updates. New is the innovative P35X™ dual-density foam in the midsole. This
foam is slightly firmer on the outside for stability and softer on the inside
for a plush cushioning feel. The 28 mm stack height offers a balanced ratio
between protection and ground feel. The brand-new Vibram® XS Run AW outsole
guarantees about 20% more grip than the predecessor, even on wet surfaces. The
updated, breathable mesh upper ensures an excellent foot climate. A molded heel
section and optimized tongue construction noticeably improve step-in comfort.
The Standard FootShape™ fit gives the toes the necessary space to spread
naturally. Like all classic Altra models, the Torin 9 features a Zero Drop
platform. This supports natural spinal alignment and reduces impact stress. It
is the ideal companion for recovery runs, long distances, or the daily commute.
Weighing approximately 278 g (men's), it remains pleasantly light despite
maximum cushioning. The sole's flexibility allows for a smooth rolling motion.
