Carbohydrate-electrolyte solutions improve the absorption of water during physical activity and contribute to endurance performance during prolonged endurance exercise. Take 1 serving per hour with sufficient fluid (0.4-0.8 litres/h) during prolonged exercise in the heat. The sodium content of other drinks and food consumed at the same time should be taken into account.
