elements and a ReactX foam midsole provide optimal energy return at a low

Innovations The brand new midsole made of ReactX foam is 13% more responsive
than the previous React technology.
The ReactX foam was designed with a focus on performance and the planet. It
requires less energy to produce than the previous Nike React foam. As a result,
we were able to reduce the CO2 footprint of the midsoles by at least 43%. The
carbon footprint of ReactX is based on a cradle-to-gate assessment verified by
PRé Sustainability B.V. and Intertek China. Other midsole components such as
air elements, plates or other types of foam were not taken into account.
The Pegasus 41 has the same inner materials and cushioning as its predecessor
and hugs your foot with an implemented midfoot strap for a more secure but
forgiving feel. The midfoot strap provides a more pre-shaped fit on the foot
that adapts to all arches.
