An absolute favorite. The Long Sky 2 wants to get out into the fresh air and be moved. Preferably fast and with "gusto". It has the most fun on a nice, rooty trail in the profiled low mountain range. If you were to compare it to a breed of dog, it would probably be the hyperactive border collie rather than the leisurely St. Bernard. As the second edition of the shoe is still relatively new on the market, it will be extremely exciting to see how Merrell plans to improve it in the future. The MTL Long Sky 2 is the mountain running shoe that does it all. It's designed to withstand the ever-changing elements with a quick-drying construction that keeps water out and feet dry and comfortable. And when things get slippery, the Vibram® sole provides premium traction. Built in the Merrell Test Lab, our product development incubator.
