Altra FWD Via is a versatile trail running shoe that optimally combines
comfort, stability and protection. Specially developed for runners who are
travelling off the beaten track and appreciate a natural running feel. With its
robust design, proven zero-drop technology and generous FootShape™ toe box, the
FWD Via sets new standards in trail running. Innovative features for demanding
trails The FWD Via scores with a combination of lightness and durability. The
robust upper material protects against dirt, small stones and twigs, while the
breathable structure ensures a pleasant foot climate. Thanks to the specially
developed trail outsole with deep lugs, the shoe offers excellent grip on a
wide variety of surfaces - whether on muddy trails, in the forest or on stony
paths. Technology for natural movement and protection Altra's characteristic
Zero Drop ensures an even distribution of body weight from heel to forefoot and
promotes a natural running technique. The FootShape™ toe box allows the toes
maximum freedom of movement, which improves stability, especially on uneven
terrain. In addition, the responsive Altra EGO™ midsole provides comfortable
cushioning without losing traction.
