With the FR965, Garmin has once again managed to improve a top product. It is very well made, very light, easy to use and also shines in all other areas: One of the highlights is the sensational AMOLED touch display, which ensures very good readability and enables touch operation in addition to the buttons. Thanks to the intelligent display technology, the battery life is also at a very good level and even enables "ultra-competitions". Almost all sports can be displayed. The FR965 in white also shines in terms of health, music, connectivity and payment. Its optical pulse sensor works very reliably. Thanks to its extremely low weight, it is barely noticeable on the wrist and is therefore extremely comfortable to wear. Both the GPS measurement - including multiband! - as well as the stability of the software are completely convincing. With its large 32GB memory, the FR965 is also "future-proof". The Garmin app offers numerous configuration options, evaluation options and implementation of training plans as well as synchronization options.
For runners*, cyclists*, swimmers* and multisport athletes*, the Forerunner 965 is one of the most interesting alternatives on the market. Only ultra-athletes, backpackers and sports travelers who need maximum battery life should move up a level on the Garmin shelf to the FENIX models.
