PUMA evoSPEED Star 9 – Versatile Track Spike for Young Athletes The PUMA
evoSPEED Star 9 is the ideal entry-level track spike for high school athletes
and beginners in competitive athletics. Designed as a versatile all-rounder, it
offers excellent value for money and reliable performance across a wide range
of track & field disciplines. Suitable for Multiple Track & Field
Events From sprint distances like 100 meters to middle and long distances up to
10,000 meters, as well as hurdles and jumping events, the evoSPEED Star 9 is
built to handle it all. This makes it the perfect choice for young athletes who
compete in multiple disciplines. Traction and Propulsion on the Track The 6-pin
Pebax plate with an extended forefoot ensures strong traction and efficient
power transfer. The 2 x 6 replaceable pyramid spike pins (6 mm / ¼ inch)
provide secure grip on standard track surfaces. A spike wrench is included.
Comfortable Cushioning for Training and Competition A full-length EVA midsole
delivers durable, responsive cushioning for enhanced comfort during training
and competition. The EVA sockliner, cemented to the strobel board, supports a
cushioned and secure fit. Durable Outsole Construction The EVERTRACK rubber
outsole is placed in high-wear areas to improve abrasion resistance and overall
durability, making the spike suitable for frequent use. Racing Fit for Speed
The curved and tapered racing last positions the runner naturally on the
forefoot, supporting fast toe-off and maximum propulsion. Lightweight and
Breathable Upper The lightweight mesh upper offers excellent breathability and
protection while minimizing irritation. It allows for comfortable barefoot use.
A suede tongue, secured on the medial side, improves fit, while the internal
heel counter provides added stability and a secure heel lockdown.
