In my opinion, both lamps deliver what they promise. At first glance, the Silva Scout is more comfortable to wear - the strap is softer and more supple and the lamp itself is a lot lighter than the Petzl Actik Core. Nevertheless, in a direct comparison, I prefer the Petzl Actik Core, mainly due to its light range and brightness and the fact that it sits a little more stable on the head at the end of the sports session. Finally, in my opinion, in today's world where environmental protection is a priority, lamps with disposable batteries are no longer compliant. With the Petzl you have the option of purchasing a rechargeable battery as an accessory.
