activities and backpacking. Weather protection while hiking The Alp Mate Mid is
designed for mountain enthusiasts who want a reliable and comfortable mid-cut
shoe with 3-season weather protection for hiking and backpacking. It has a
premium suede upper with a waterproof, breathable membrane so it keeps out the
wind and weather and dries quickly. Breathability is further enhanced by
inserts of durable mesh material at the tongue and ankle. In addition, the
rubber toe cap and heel stabilizer provide your feet with extra protection and
stability. Comfort is the focus This shoe is designed to be comfortable over
long distances, and the SALEWA® 3F System provides excellent flexibility, heel
hold and a secure fit. The durable EVA midsole provides a soft landing and
ensures that impacts are well absorbed. Our climbing shoe lacing system and
flexible eyelets also allow for precise tightening on technical terrain.
Hiking-specific profile Designed for hiking enthusiasts, the tread pattern of
the POMOCA® outsole provides stability, grip and adhesion and supports the
natural movement of the foot. The Alp Mate Mid is the ideal waterproof and
breathable shoe for hiking and backpacking on alpine trails.
