The athletically cut Vioz men's jacket offers breathable insulation and comfortable thermal regulation, making it ideal for changeable weather and stop-and-go mountain sports in autumn and winter. Waterproof and windproof, breathable Powertex fabric. The exceptionally breathable 2.5-layer shell fabric (water column: 10,000 mm, RET value: 40,000 g/m²/24h) provides reliable weather protection at a low weight and has taped seams and a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Active insulation Our exclusive hybrid Polartec® Alpha® Direct wool blend insulation makes this jacket a very special garment. The interwoven fibres are bonded to a solid mesh core, ensuring that excess heat escapes before it can build up and make you feel uncomfortably cool and damp. The padding is underneath a mesh layer and is used in strategic areas such as the chest, back and top of the sleeves. The additional wool fibres improve thermal regulation and comfort. Mountain-specific details For extra protection, a chin-high collar is integrated into the hood. The hood is also insulated and has an elasticated hem at the opening. The Vioz jacket has a zipped chest pocket, ergonomically cut sleeves with elasticated cuffs and a drawcord system at the hem to protect against wind and weather.
