The Speed Beat consists of a durable fabric upper and a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® lining that keeps your feet dry in all weather conditions. The Pomoca Speed Hiking outsole provides reliable grip and traction when you're moving fast during speed hiking or mountain training on alpine terrain. The tread pattern has an aggressive cleat design that promises good performance in a variety of conditions. The S-Path glide area allows a natural stance with the heel and kick in the toe area, while your middle foot applies pressure exactly where you want it - with direct ground contact. Combined with the double density EVA midsole with our Motion Guidance technology, this creates even more sure-footedness. What's more, our proven SALEWA® 3F system combines the instep area with the sole and heel to guarantee flexibility, precise fit and firm support. Heel caps and side reinforcements made of TPU further increase protection. When you wear the Speed Beat in wet weather, you benefit from stretch gaiters that cover the laces and prevent dirt and debris from getting from the path into the shoes. Finally, the Ortholite® footbed ensures good moisture management.
