The PULSAR was designed for Kilian Jornet, who has broken some of the most
iconic records. It owes its cutting-edge technology to Salomon's legendary
S/LAB. Kilian asked us for a fast shoe for his trail runs and the product
development team took up the challenge: The result is an ultra-light (170 g),
precise and dynamic shoe. With a sock-like, soft fit, reinforced breathable
Matryx® mesh and new strategically placed cushioning, you'll practically take
off. Weight-saving performance Super-fast running feel thanks to our lightest
midsole and an almost weightless upper in the lightest S/LAB shoe ever,
weighing just 170 grams. Dynamic running feel The right amount of strategically
placed cushioning gives plenty of agility on easy trails. Precise fit With a
sock-like fit and breathable Matryx® mesh reinforced with aramid fibres, your
foot is enveloped for a precise fit. Features: - Lightweight, reactive EVA and
Olefin (OBC) foam brings durable cushioning and vibrant energy return. - Fine
mesh ME:sh® fabric prevents debris from getting between the foot and the
footbed. - The upper has patented technology and is woven with aramid fibre for
comfortable and efficient foot hold. - Contagrip® MA is designed for a wide
variety of surfaces. It offers a balanced mix of geometry and a rubber compound
- for secure grip on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces and lasting durability. -
Profeel Film protects the foot on rocky and sharp-edged surfaces for increased
comfort and stability. - Seamless upper provides a supple, glove-like fit and
comfortable feel. - A simple but effective EVA insole that provides excellent
cushioning and instant comfort. - Minimalist, strong lace that can be tightened
in one go. Easy to put on and take off.
