+ Expert opinion
Hoka has been
on the German market since the 2015 autumn season and has become a big player in
the running shoe universe. Two or three years ago, I would never have thought of
Hoka when buying a running shoe. Today I run the Torrent 2 (trail), the Rincon 2
(road) and now also the Rocket X for the fast units. With the Rocket X, Hoka has
presented a very good and affordable carbon running shoe that is suitable for
distances up to 21km. Light runners with a good running technique can also
manage the marathon distance. If you don't like the colour combination, I
recommend the other colour models from Hoka Fiesta/Black and Scuba Blue/Luminary
Green.
+ Description
The Rocket X is one of the most innovative shoes HOKA has ever released: an
incredibly lightweight, highly responsive running shoe designed for elite
athletes. The lightest running shoe in the HOKA range is designed so you can
rubber from the first step. It's ideal for shorter distances and uses the same
responsive carbon fiber plate as the Carbon X, which translates into a faster,
more efficient running feel with more propulsion. Designed for competition, the
shoe features the lightest foam in HOKA history, a soft midsole reinforcement,
breathable mesh upper construction and a lightweight, rubberized foam outsole
that reduces weight. A speed shoe par excellence. Feel the adrenaline as soon
as you lace it up. - Breathable - Anatomical lug construction - Midsole made of
CMEVA foam for stable support and shock absorption at impact points - 1mm
carbon fiber plate for a smooth transition through the gait cycle - Early
Meta-Rocker for a faster running feelwith more forward propulsion - Rubber
reinforcements for less weight and more durability
