ReactX foam was designed with performance and the planet in mind. The carbon footprint of a pair of midsoles is reduced by at least 43% because less energy is required to manufacture them than the previous Nike React foam. ReactX's carbon footprint is based on a cradle-to-gate assessment verified by PRé Sustainability B.V. and Intertek China. Other midsole components such as air elements, plates, or other types of foam were not taken into account.
