The SCOTT Kinabalu Ultra is designed for maximum performance on long-distance
trail runs and demanding terrain. Built to handle changing surfaces and
prolonged impact, this trail running shoe combines long-lasting comfort,
efficient cushioning, and reliable traction—ideal for extended training
sessions and ultra-distance runs. At the core of the shoe is the Kinetic
Nitrogen midsole, featuring nitrogen-infused foam that delivers outstanding
energy return and consistent cushioning over long distances. The integrated ER3
Rocker technology promotes a smooth, dynamic roll-off, improving running
efficiency and reducing fatigue on long trails. The durable Matryx® upper
offers excellent abrasion resistance while remaining lightweight and highly
breathable. It ensures secure foot hold and stability, even on technical
terrain. The Ultra Traction outsole provides dependable grip on dry, wet, and
loose surfaces, delivering confidence and control across a wide range of trail
conditions. With a 6 mm drop and a stack height of 39 mm at the heel and 33 mm
at the forefoot, the SCOTT Kinabalu Ultra delivers a balanced combination of
protection, stability, and trail feel—ideal for long-distance trail running.
