After the fit was better last year, New Balance did something for the masses this year and adjusted the heel, which took some getting used to, and made the upper better. My wish for a thin upper was not granted, but the shoe fits well and the foot gets enough air through the holes in the upper.

The marginally narrower forefoot is better to walk in and the shoe is fun to wear every day! Not to forget the colourway - as you can see in the pictures, I have the dark blue ones and find the combination with red and yellow very successful, but would also have been very happy with the other option!

As mentioned above, try the shoe on or order half a size smaller.
