We had the new Cloudrunner 2 from On tested by an experienced athlete, who gave us a detailed report on his impressions. It wasn't just about cushioning and comfort, but also about stability, performance and the general running experience.the Cloudrunner 2 is aimed at a wide target group, from beginners to experienced runners. Beginners: Thanks to its exceptional cushioning and stability, the shoe is ideal for runners who are just starting out. It supports correct foot guidance and helps to prevent injuries. Long-distance runners: For those who regularly run 10 kilometres or more, the Cloudrunner 2 is an excellent companion. The cushioning ensures that even long distances can be covered without discomfort. Overpronators: Those who tend to bend inwards when running will benefit from the stable construction of the shoe. Recovery runs: Our tester also recommends the Cloudrunner 2 for slow, relaxed runs where comfort is paramount.

New season - new shoe: With the Cloudrunner 2, On is launching an improved version of the tried-and-tested Cloudrunner. More comfort. More support. Even more sustainable materials. This is what the next generation Cloudrunner promises.

On is known for innovative technologies and the up-and-coming Swiss brand has further developed the well-known CloudTec® technology with the help of computer-aided analyses: CloudTec-Phase® technology is here. Developed using state-of-the-art FEA (Finite Element Analysis) technology, the midsole is sequentially compressed on landing - cloud by cloud, so to speak.

What does that mean for you? High comfort, light support for your foot and, above all, a soft landing and seamless weight transfer from heel to toe.

However, no science in the world can really explain what the new CloudTec Phase® technology feels like - you just have to experience it for yourself.

Another improvement is the use of Helion™ Superfoam in the midsole, which increases energy return. The mesh is made from 100% recycled polyester and TPU. The outsole has an improved structure that does not pick up stones.
