At the heel, the cleat is narrower for a smoother, consistent feel and at the forefoot, it has more clearance for optimal grip on the trail and in wet weather conditions. The CHALLENGER ATR 5 also has support pads on the midfoot for even more grip and a fixed heel cap support for safety on the sides and in the middle.
