In the midsole, BROOKS uses the new DNA LOFT v2 material. The new foam makes it possible to give the trail shoe more cushioning material and still reduce the weight of the shoe. This means more comfort and easier running in the terrain.
And so that water is pressed out of the shoe more quickly, BROOKS uses drainage openings in the sole.

BROOKS has also revised the outsole of the Cascadia 16 (men). The lugs have been adjusted in their arrangement. This improves adaptability to rough terrain, so you can run safely. The BROOKS Cascadia 16 (men) scores points on both wet and dry surfaces. Flexible protection is provided by the Ballistic Rock Shield, which not only protects you from rocks or roots on your trails, but also increases lateral adaptability thanks to the vertical grooves.
